Birthday Boy
I am sitting here, feeling reflective and appreciative of the person Ethan has become. I continue to be in awe of his kind heart, his generosity with loving others, and his sincere gratitude for a wide variety of things and experiences in his life. All semester, I was unable to help in his Kindergarten class, go on field trips, etc. because all of the classes I taught were in the mornings. Ethan attends half-day Kindergarten - in the mornings. But, as of May 15th, my semester is over! Now, I'm free to participate in a variety of activities and events with my little boy. And yesterday, I had the BEST time helping with Kindergarten Game Day. I was in charge of the parachute activity. Although I was exhausted by the end of two hours, it was so much fun encouraging almost 100 Kindergarten students to work together, pay attention, and have lots of giggles. And, what a work-out! Ethan got to be "parent pick-up" because I was there until the end of his normal school hours....
